This course is more important than you might think! Why? Because getting your product to your customer within the specified time is the “make or break” of customer service. You can give outstanding pre-sale guidance, you can be sending out the best product possible and everything else could have been done right but if the parcel arrives 3 days late or not at all then that customer will be shouting down the phone demanding a refund. The founder of Insaka, Warrick Kernes, previously founded and ran Action Gear which won the 2015 SA eCommerce Award for Best Customer Service so you can trust in this advice.
In this course we’ll go through the three fundamentals of logistics of eCommerce within the South African business environment. Firstly we’ll take you through what it takes to import inventory from overseas while avoiding the pitfalls which catch out so many SA companies. Next we’ll look at the options for you to store your inventory (in-house or outsourced), how to reduce theft and how to manage your inventory properly. Finally we go to the last step in the delivery process; the couriers. We’ll take a look at the various courier options and give our recommendations of which to use and we’ll also share some tips that will reduce your costs on every single delivery from that moment onwards (this alone is worth signing up for the course!)
